Ask a trusted person to be available
Before a journey or a check-in, ask whether someone you trust can be available for a while. Safety Sessions are in development as private support requests.

Agree on a support window
Choose eligible trusted contacts and a start and end time. They can accept the request to confirm their availability during that window.
Availability can change
- Accept or decline
- Recipients choose whether they can be available. Sending a request does not commit someone to the session.
- Withdraw availability
- A recipient can withdraw availability when plans change. Check the session’s current status instead of assuming an earlier acceptance still applies.
- End the window early
- The person who started a session can end it early and notify the remaining eligible participants.
Availability is separate from tracking
Accepting a session does not grant location, battery or travel-history access. The request does not include a destination, and it does not start SOS or a check-in timer.
Support from someone you know
An accepted session is not a promise of continuous monitoring or professional response. Trip sharing and safety timers are separate tools, with their own choices and limits. Launch availability has not been confirmed.
