Choose who receives the update
Send a check-in to selected eligible trusted contacts, with optional context or a message. It is a private update, not a public incident report.
A check-in doesn’t turn on tracking
Sending a check-in does not grant access to your location, battery or travel history. Location sharing remains a separate permission you control.
Different from a safety timer
A check-in is an update you choose to send. A timer sets a deadline and can notify selected people if you miss the response window. Neither automatically calls emergency services. Both are in development.
